No, Axios, Climate Change Is Not Making Atlanta’s Allergy Season Worse
Posted On: March 12, 2025
Instead of taking a broad, evidence-based approach, Axios in its attempt to connect worsening allergies to climate change it has once again resorted to alarmist claims without addressing all relevant factors. Atlanta’s allergy season is influenced by many variables, including land use changes, dense urban landscaping with pollen producing plants, increased green space, and urbanization. Blaming climate change without considering these other influences misleads the public and fosters unnecessary panic. If the media is truly interested in infor . . . [

Antarctica Ice Growing Across Large Areas for at Least 85 Years, Aerial Photos Show
Posted On: March 12, 2025
The Copenhagen scientists examined hundreds of old aerial photographs taken for mapping work in 1937. The images were supplemented with a number of photographs taken in the 1950s and 1974 of the same area and a 3D computer reconstruction was produced. This allowed the researchers to examine the evolution of glaciers over a significant time period. In order to determine if recent trends exceed the scale of natural variability, long-term observations are said to be vital.Re Posted From: Antarctica Ice Growing Across Large Areas for at Least 85 Ye . . . Modernize EPA! (CEI guidebook is out)
Posted On: March 11, 2025
“The EPA is supposed to protect the nation’s environment but instead uses this mission as a means to regulate major portions of the economy and affect how we live our lives,” CEI’s Director of the Center for Energy & Environment and Senior Fellow Daren Bakst said. “This can be seen by its recent rules to help kill off gas-powered cars and to shift electricity generation from reliable sources (coal and natural gas) to unreliable sources (wind and solar).”Re Posted From: Modernize EPA! Markers On the Road to The Green Energy Wall — Electric Trucks Edition
Posted On: March 11, 2025
Does anybody really think that this battery charging issue is going to be solved within a couple of years? People have only been working on batteries that are suitable for this purpose for about 100 years or so. Other issues noted by the legislators include “lack of charging infrastructure” and “cost.” On the cost front, it the Post reports that the price of a fully-electric heavy-duty truck can be as much as triple that of a diesel competitor with comparable load capacity. Exit quote from these legislators:Re Posted From: Markers On th . . . [

Lift the veil on wind power killing eagles

In addition to the allowable kill numbers the eagle death reports should be made public. People need to know that wind projects in their county or state are killing eagles, where and how many. They also need to know how many more kills are proposed.Re Posted From: Lift the veil on wind power killing eaglesWatts Up With That . . . [

Medieval Warm Period Undeniable, Pronounced In Antarctica And Poland, 2 New Studies Show
Posted On: March 10, 2025
The two new studies from Antarctica and Poland indicate that the natural climate factors still need to be much better understood in order to be able to incorporate them faithfully into climate models. Currently, the simulations do not attribute a major role to natural climate events, which is a serious mistake.Re Posted From: Medieval Warm Period Undeniable, Pronounced In Antarctica And Poland, 2 New Studies ShowWatts Up With That . . .
