The Home-Based Battery Storage Fantasy
Posted On: November 23, 2024
Ignoring physical and economic realities may be fashionable, but reality always wins in the long run. The electric grid and its components form a complex system which most of us take for granted, which enable misleading claims regarding the simplicity of electrifying everything and powering it all almost exclusively with wind, solar, and batteries. Electric utilities and planners can provide a public service by explaining why this scenario, given today’s technology, isn’t possible.Re Posted From: The Home-Based Battery Storage FantasyWatts . . . Ford to cut 800 UK jobs as electric car sales flag
Posted On: November 22, 2024
As was obvious from the beginning, there never was enough demand for EVs for the mandated targets to be achieved. Manufacturers have been forced into offering unaffordable discounts for EVs, and are now cutting back on ICE cars, so as to artificially increase the ratio of EVs. Even then, some will still not meet ZEV targets, and carrying the deficit forward is a mug’s game.Re Posted From: Ford to cut 800 UK jobs as electric car sales flagWatts Up With That . . . [

Live at 1pm Eastern, 10 am Pacific, COP 29: Inside the Disaster in Baku – The Climate Realism Show
Posted On: November 22, 2024
The latest annual United Nations climate conference, COP29, is about to wrap up in Baku, Azerbaijan the second year in a row it has been held in a “petro state.” Add in the election of Donald Trump just before they convened, and it was a pretty grim affair if you are a global climate alarmist. But for some people it was a blast, including Craig Rucker and Marc Morano of CFACT, who attended as they usually do. No, Atlanta News First, Climate Change is Not Threatening the “Way of Life” of Georgia Farmers
Posted On: November 22, 2024
A thorough analysis of regional climate data and agricultural outcomes in Georgia reveals that there is no evidence climate change is altering weather patterns in Georgia for the worse or harming the state’s agriculture sector. The Southeastern United States has experienced a modest cooling trend in recent decades and Georgia’s peach industry, contrary to the impression given in the ANF article, achieved record yields in 2024. These facts underscore the bogus nature of ANF’s article.Re Posted From: No, Atlanta News First, Climate Change i . . . [

They’re Trying to Silence Us: The G20’s War on Climate Skepticism
Posted On: November 22, 2024
Make no mistake: this is a battle for the soul of free inquiry. If the climate alarmists succeed in silencing dissent, the consequences will extend far beyond climate policy. The precedent being set is clear: disagree with the elite consensus, and you will be erased.Re Posted From: They’re Trying to Silence Us: The G20’s War on Climate SkepticismWatts Up With That . . . [
