This simple fact is widely known to all levels of government in the Southwest there are commissions and committees and treaties and agreements galore none of which create more water but only serve to divide the available water a little differently with each new demand.Re Posted From: U.S. Water Woes SouthwestWatts Up With That . . . Next EV Battle Pits Truckers And Red States Against California-Led ‘Cartel’
Posted On: December 28, 2024
Fully electrifying the U.S. commercial truck fleet could cost nearly $1 trillion in infrastructure investment alone, according to a report from Roland Berger released in March by the Clean Freight Coalition. Conventional trucks can travel up to 2,000 miles without refueling, compared to up to 500 miles for current electric semi-trucks, according to a May 2023 report from the Environmental and Energy Study Institute. All electric semi-trucks can also take more than an hour to recharge.Re Posted From: Next EV Battle Pits Truckers And Red States A . . . [

Climate Activists: The Big Bad Wolf
Posted On: December 28, 2024
The third pig, Freedom of Speech, had observed the Wolf’s tactics and decided to build his house differently. Instead of bricks or steel, he fortified his home with the most indestructible material of all: the right to question the narrative. He constructed his house on a foundation of open debate and reinforced it with diverse opinions and hard evidence.Re Posted From: Climate Activists: The Big Bad WolfWatts Up With That . . . [

Habitat Destruction Offsets for “Renewables” are just Indulgences
Posted On: December 28, 2024
A bad idea is emerging in the “renewables” world, namely that projects can buy their way out of destroying natural habitats. The wind and solar projects still destroy the natural habitats they are built on but they fund a magic wand that somehow supposedly creates new compensating habitat someplace else. Not really.Re Posted From: Habitat Destruction Offsets for “Renewables” are just IndulgencesWatts Up With That . . . [
