Coal Use Hits Record High in 2024 Thanks to India and China
Posted On: December 22, 2024
The only takeaways from the coal use data are that countries with sensible leaders are looking to the energy needs of their citizens and that climate is too complex an issue to attribute to a gas that is 0.04% of Earth’s atmosphere.Re Posted From: Coal Use Hits Record High in 2024 Thanks to India and ChinaWatts Up With That . . . Climate Change Weekly # 529 – Bad Estimates of Solar Activity and Temperatures Undermine Climate C
Posted On: December 21, 2024
There is a case against the adoption of Net Zero given the enormous costs associated with implementing the policy, and the fact it is unlikely to achieve reductions in average near surface global air temperature, regardless of whether Net Zero is fully implemented and adopted worldwide. Therefore, Net Zero does not pass the cost-benefit test. The recommended policy is to abandon Net Zero and do nothing about so-called ‘greenhouse gases.’Re Posted From: Climate Change Weekly # 529 Bad Estimates of Solar Activity and Temperatures Undermin . . . Wells Fargo Exits Net-Zero Banking Alliance: A Pragmatic Rejection of the “Climate Cartel”
Posted On: December 21, 2024
As the NZBA and similar initiatives face growing scrutiny, it is time to rethink the entire premise of climate finance. Instead of chasing utopian visions, the focus should shift to policies and practices grounded in evidence, market dynamics, and a recognition of the complex realities of global energy systems. Until then, the exodus from these alliances will likely continue—and rightly so.Re Posted From: Wells Fargo Exits Net-Zero Banking Alliance: A Pragmatic Rejection of the “Climate Cartel”Watts Up With That . . . Leveraging the Defense Production Act to Stockpile Minerals
Posted On: December 21, 2024
The Trump Administration could use any of the Defense Production Act’s $1 billion in unobligated funds for stockpiling minerals. Depending on the final defense appropriations bill for fiscal year 2025, the incoming administration could tap even more funds, likely an additional $450 million to $900 million.Re Posted From: Leveraging the Defense Production Act to Stockpile MineralsWatts Up With That . . . How the Blob Sneaks Net Zero Amendments into British Laws
Posted On: December 20, 2024
The dark financial tentacles of the Green Blob help curate mainstream media, brainwash young children, fund large areas of climate pseudoscience, initiate and finance lawfare operations and bankroll countless ‘grassroots’ agitprop operations. America needs a subzero blackout prevention program
Posted On: December 20, 2024
Cold kills and America is at great risk of deadly subzero blackouts. Renewables are part of the problem but gas is the biggest part. We now know that the supply system that feeds our gas fired power plants can be unreliable in extreme cold weather.Re Posted From: America needs a subzero blackout prevention programWatts Up With That . . . Live at 1pm ET: Human CO2 Emissions Are a GOOD THING – The Climate Realism Show #139
Posted On: December 20, 2024
It’s a fact that humans are increasing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. But does it follow, as we’re constantly told, that this increasing of CO2 is poisoning the planet? What if the opposite is actually the case? This week’s guest, CO2 Coalition Executive Director Gregory Wrightstone, is going to explain why it’s not true that more CO2=Bad.Re Posted From: Live at 1pm ET: Human CO2 Emissions Are a GOOD THING The Climate Realism Show #139Watts Up With That . . .
